I am really getting tired of seeing Flock cameras on every corner.

I am sick and tired of every personal conversation being funneled through giant mega-corporation servers, building behavioral dossiers, training AI models, and turning our private lives into a product. As a libertarian, I hold ideals that others may someday deem "unacceptable." We are speeding toward a future of ubiquitous surveillance where basic privacy is treated with suspicion.

I wanted a sanctuary—a place where free people can talk to the people they care about freely, without accounts, without behavioral tracking, and without leaving a permanent digital footprint behind.

So I built Transient.Chat.

The core principle is simple: Chat without a trace.

Here is what makes it tick:

⏳ 100% Ephemeral & RAM-Only
No accounts, no email logins, and no message database. Messages exist strictly in server memory and vanish after 1 hour. When everyone leaves a room, the room self-destructs completely. Nothing is ever saved to disk.

🔐 Zero-Knowledge End-to-End Encryption (E2EE)
Lock down any room with a custom passphrase. Keys are derived locally in your browser using PBKDF2 and AES-GCM. Passphrases never touch the server, meaning nobody in the middle can read your conversations.

🎙️ Ephemeral Voice Notes
Hold the microphone button to send self-destructing voice clips, with optional live autoplay for seamless audio conversations.

📺 Watchrooms
Sync up YouTube playback and hang out with friends in real time without big tech tracking what you're watching together.

🛠️ Open Source & Self-Hostable
