Preparedness

In light of all the current ongoing political unrest, I am feeling a bit underprepared. So, I have started putting together a few preparedness kits.

Nothing crazy, a get home kit for each car. A personal go bag for each family member. A few supplies stashed around the house.

But I am also thinking about more physical security for the house. Better doors, better locks, a camera system.

It's hard to tell how much will be enough, I don't want to get carried away with fear. But I also feel compelled to do something.

I have also decided to start learning more about mesh networking and some of the practical applications that I can realistically apply to our everyday lives.

I've got some meshcore devices headed this way so that I can test them out in the field before an emergency would occur.
