Goodbye Tiktok

So, TikTok got banned. They turned the servers off. Before they went... they left a plea to Trump to save them. As a protest I have uninstalled all Meta apps and Twitter/X from my phone. I also just went ahead and uninstalled the TikTok app as well.

The next day, TikTok is back. This time with another message glazing Trump and claiming he saved them. He has only ever said he would stay the ban for 90 days. I personally think that a deal was made. I think that TikTok made some type of deal with the powers that be in the incoming Trump administration to give them control over the dials. I know TikTok has a variable messaging algorithm that can be tuned to amplify or suppress certain messaging and video distribution. Trump's got the clicker now.... he can pick what channel we collectively watch.

I've decided I'm not going back. I'm taking my ball. I'm going home.

The only way to to not lose... is to not play.
